Cathie Wood, founder of ARK Invest, said blockchain technology has been developing for more than 10 years and forecast that more blockchain networks will emerge in the future.
On the 10th, Wood said that as blockchain networks continue to enter the market, it is important to understand how each chain scales, generates revenue and attracts users.
She shared an analysis by Lorenzo Valente, head of digital asset research at ARK Invest. Valente compared Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks based on factors including transaction-processing scale and their ability to generate revenue per transaction, explaining that each network has different scalability and revenue structures.
Wood said the analysis provides a framework for comparing the business models, strengths and weaknesses, market-entry strategies and user-acquisition strategies of various blockchain projects.
