Binance Records Largest Daily Net Bitcoin Outflow in Three Years at 13,800 BTC

More than 13,800 bitcoins flowed out of Binance in a single day, accelerating accumulation activity for long-term holding.

Global cryptocurrency exchange Binance has recorded its largest net Bitcoin outflow in approximately three years, since 2023. Alongside the recent rise in Bitcoin’s price, market participants are increasingly withdrawing large amounts of Bitcoin held on the exchange to external wallets.

According to on-chain data, Binance’s net Bitcoin outflows averaged approximately 2,000 BTC per day over the past week. In particular, more than 13,800 BTC flowed out over the latest 24-hour period, marking the largest single-day outflow in three years. As a result, Binance’s total Bitcoin holdings also fell sharply by approximately 20,000 BTC, from about 705,000 BTC to 685,000 BTC in just four days.

The market interprets this large-scale movement of funds as a shift by investors toward self-custody and medium- to long-term accumulation. Crypto assets deposited on exchanges are generally classified as liquid inventory immediately available for sale, but when investors move them to personal wallets or independent custody solutions, the likelihood of an immediate sale in the market falls significantly.

As a result, the reduction in sellable supply held on exchanges is expected to help ease potential selling pressure in the future. In addition, some observers assess that investors who had remained on the sidelines while anticipating a bear-market trend and waiting for further price corrections recently joined the rebound late and began accumulating, also contributing to the larger withdrawal volume.
