Major Bitcoin wallets holding 10,000–100,000 BTC have aggressively accumulated over the past month, increasing their holdings to the highest level in the past six months.
According to on-chain analytics firm Santiment, these wallets purchased approximately 88,987 BTC since September 19. As a result, their total holdings surpassed 13.69 million BTC, reaching the highest level since April.
Santiment said the changes in this group’s holdings are a noteworthy indicator, as they have historically moved closely with major price trends in Bitcoin.
It also analyzed that continued accumulation despite ongoing price volatility shows that major holders are expanding rather than reducing their Bitcoin exposure, and that if this trend continues, it could create a strong bullish environment.
