U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs See Net Outflows for Second Straight Day; Ethereum Products Post Eight Consecutive Days of Outflows

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $244.1 million, marking a second consecutive day of outflows, while Ethereum products also posted net outflows for eight consecutive trading days.

Outflows continued across the spot cryptocurrency ETF market listed on U.S. exchanges, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum products maintaining net outflow trends. As of the 8th local time, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded total net outflows of $244.1 million, equivalent to approximately KRW 327.7 billion, extending the outflow streak to two consecutive days after the previous day.

Within the Bitcoin product group, large-scale selling was concentrated in Fidelity’s product. Fidelity’s FBTC recorded $197.1 million in outflows, the largest outflow among individual funds. This was followed by $20.3 million in outflows from Ark Invest’s ARKB, $17.7 million from Bitwise’s BITB, $8.2 million from Grayscale’s GBTC and $5.5 million from BlackRock’s IBIT. In contrast, Franklin Templeton’s EZBC was the only product to record an inflow, attracting approximately $4.7 million.

On the same day, the U.S. spot Ethereum ETF market also remained weak, recording net outflows for an eighth consecutive trading day. Total net outflows from spot Ethereum products stood at $72.5 million, equivalent to approximately KRW 97.3 billion.

Within the Ethereum product group, outflows from BlackRock’s product stood out. BlackRock’s ETHA recorded net outflows of $71.1 million, accounting for most of the total outflow. This was followed by outflows of $6.1 million from Grayscale’s ETHE, $1.2 million from 21Shares’ TETH and $0.9 million from VanEck’s ETHV. However, inflows of $5.5 million into Fidelity’s FETH and $1.3 million into Morgan Stanley’s MSSE partially absorbed additional outflow pressure.
