Bitcoin could continue its uptrend toward the next major resistance zone of $95,000–$97,000 if it maintains a price above $84,000, according to an analysis.
Glassnode said Bitcoin has moved above the True Market Mean (TMM), which represents the average purchase price of active investors, at approximately $77,000. It also broke through the $84,000–$85,000 range, where holdings of long-term investors are concentrated. Glassnode identified the next major on-chain resistance level as the average MVRV price of approximately $96,700.
Renewed buying momentum in U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and spot trading volume increasing to more than double its August low were cited as factors supporting the uptrend. Options market positions are also concentrated around $95,000.
Glassnode explained that current realized profits remain significantly lower than at the peaks in 2024–2025, limiting aggressive profit-taking. However, it added that if Bitcoin falls back below $84,000, the $77,000 support level could once again become important.
