U.S. fast-food chain Steak ’n Shake said that same-store sales have grown at a double-digit rate since it introduced Bitcoin payments, while sales at franchise locations increased 19% this quarter.
Steak ’n Shake said on X on September 8 that “same-store sales have recorded double-digit growth since we began accepting Bitcoin payments in May 2025.”
The company said same-store sales at franchise partner locations increased 19% this quarter and expressed its gratitude to Bitcoin users.
Steak ’n Shake introduced payments using the Bitcoin Lightning Network in May 2025. The company said it believes the introduction of Bitcoin payments has had a positive impact on its growth.
