100–1,000 BTC Holders Record Largest Accumulation Since April, Joined by Mega Whales

Investors holding 100–1,000 bitcoin have increased their net purchases over the past 60 days to 73,300 BTC, the highest level since April 21.

According to on-chain analyst Amar Taha, the group’s cumulative net purchases reached 73,300 BTC as of August 31. Large whales holding more than 10,000 BTC also held 43,300 BTC, indicating that they joined the accumulation trend.

This differs from the situation in April and May. At the time, holders of 100–1,000 BTC bought as much as 91,920 BTC net, while whales holding more than 10,000 BTC sold approximately 40,000 BTC. Bitcoin subsequently fell by about 25%. Taha analyzed that a structure is now emerging in which medium-to-large holders and mega whales are accumulating together.
