纳斯达克计划于2027年第二季度推出纳斯达克股票代币（Nasdaq Equity Token，NET），该代币化股票将保留现有股票的法律权利和公司治理结构。
NET旨在将纳斯达克上市股票以代币形式呈现在区块链上，同时保留基础股票的投票权和法律权利。该架构将区块链记录与发行人的官方股东名册连接，使代币的转移代表实际基础证券的转移。
为建设相关基础设施，纳斯达克已同意向Kraken母公司Payward投资1亿美元。双方计划将Payward的xStocks生态系统与纳斯达克市场基础设施连接，以支持NET的分发、交易和交易后处理功能。
纳斯达克正在开发代币化股票，使其在保留现有监管框架和发行人治理权力的同时，支持链上结算和全天候交易环境。
