Bitcoin Forecast to Break Above $175,000 Next Year as Market Structure Matures

Brian Vieten, senior research analyst at U.S. financial services firm Siebert Financial, presented an optimistic outlook that Bitcoin (BTC) could break above $175,000 next year. His analysis is that Bitcoin’s price stability and growth potential have become more robust than in previous cycles as institutional capital inflows coincide with the diversification and maturation of financial structures within the crypto market.

Vieten identified institutional capital inflows through spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for long-term holding and the diversification of major companies’ capital-raising methods as key positive factors. In past cycles, large-scale selling pressure during sharp price swings destabilized the market. More recently, however, structured institutional financial products and long-term-oriented capital have flowed in, serving as a buffer that absorbs volatility and reduces the risk of extreme declines, he explained.

He also pointed to the growing adoption of dollar-based stablecoins and the expansion of on-chain financial infrastructure as key pillars that could drive Bitcoin demand. As stablecoin usage increases, the pool of actual users and liquidity available to blockchain-based financial services is expected to expand broadly. This network expansion, he said, will ultimately lead to structurally stronger investment demand for Bitcoin, the reserve-currency-like asset of the digital-asset market.
