
Approximately 290 wealthy individuals worldwide hold more than $100 million in cryptocurrency assets, according to a report.
According to the 2026 Crypto Wealth Report published by Henley & Partners, an estimated 135,694 people held more than $1 million in cryptocurrency as of August 31. Of these, 92,272 held more than $1 million in Bitcoin.
An estimated 290 people held more than $100 million in cryptocurrency assets, including 151 who held more than $100 million in Bitcoin alone. There were 23 billionaires with more than $1 billion in cryptocurrency assets.
The number of cryptocurrency holders worldwide was estimated at approximately 742 million, of whom about 371 million held Bitcoin.
Singapore ranked first in the Henley Crypto Adoption Index for the fourth consecutive year. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) ranked second and Hong Kong third, while the United States and Switzerland placed fourth and fifth, respectively.
