Standard Chartered (SC) has initiated coverage of Ethereum layer-2 network Arbitrum (ARB), forecasting that the price of ARB could rise to $10 by the end of 2030.
Geoff Kendrick, global head of digital asset research at SC, described Arbitrum as “the blockchain for traditional finance” and analyzed that its business model supporting traditional financial institutions’ transition on-chain could benefit from the expansion of the tokenized asset market.
SC forecasts that the value of tokenized assets based on public blockchains will grow from approximately $340 billion currently to $4 trillion by the end of 2028. It also expects the tokenized stock market to expand by approximately 250 times by 2028.
SC’s ARB price targets are $0.50 at the end of 2026, $1.50 in 2027, $3.50 in 2028, $6.50 in 2029 and $10 in 2030. ARB was trading at approximately $0.14 when the report was published, making the 2030 target about 70 times its current level.
